Enterprise/Operational Risk Management

Operational Risk Management solutions are now a key requirement for companies of all kinds, owing to legal and regulatory rules such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Basel II and Data Protection Acts. Risk management and internal controls are at the heart of the legislative and regulatory compliance process, and Operational Risk Management, as part of an organisation’s security and business continuity strategy, is the key vehicle for delivering the risk and control procedures required.

At Champase, we provides end-to-end solutions to help organisations mitigate operational risk, achieve regulatory compliance and fulfill requirements for good corporate governance – as well as  providing a cost-efficient way to ensure the continuity of day-to-day business operations.

Our operational risk practice provides financial institutions with an integrated blend of skills, experience and products necessary to enhance risk management, and capital efficiency. Our risk advisory resources and risk finance services, together with risk management information systems enable our clients to derive value from their investment in operational risk management.

Software Testing

Champase has a comprehensive modular approach to testing, based on testing best practices, approved by the Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB) - a division of the British Computer Society. The approach has been designed to limit the risk, prior to exposing a system for live use.

To do exhaustive testing would mean that every path through the software and every entry point of data value under all possibilities and conditions would be tested. Our testing methodology allows for a more benefit based testing approach tailored to client’s specific requirements. The modular approach covers:

  • the discovery of flaws
  • the checking of design limits
  • the demonstration of system and program behaviour
  • demonstrating that systems do what is expected
  • demonstrating that systems do not do what is not expected
  • demonstrating that systems are ‘fit for purpose’

Website Design, Hosting & Management

With considerable marketing expertise in the business to business sector, Champase are able to advise and offer the best and most cost effective methods of bringing your product or service to the web market place. With our full web hosting package the advice is free of charge and design services are kept to a realistic level. Changes are made by the 'page', which equates to approx an A4 sheet of paper. On the average PC screen you see about an A5, so it's about 2 screens scrolling down.

Everything is completed in-house and we can therefore guarantee the quality of pictures and typography so that even the smallest and simplest package looks highly professional. Under no circumstances do we simply 'throw together' customer material. Many badly designed sites can be seen on the web and do not help the selling process. There are many factors that help to make a good design and 'DIY designers' have to be careful not to fall into the many pitfalls abound!

At Champase, our team of programmers and designers are experienced and apply traditional design skills in the use of type, graphics and space, linked with technical knowledge of the limitations of the final representation on screen.

Champase will consider your product or service and selling options carefully and discuss these with you before proceeding. Whatever type of web features you like, we will provide them.

Our other areas of service include the provision of unbiased advice and guidance on the buying and/or setting up of PCs and Network systems. We undertake dedicated system design, development, installation, administration, and management to specification. We also provide End-user technical support - whether scheduled or on request.
